Young Delivers Bounce-Back Win Amidst Run Concerns

On Wednesday, the pitcher Young secured a crucial win against the Marlins. He completed six innings, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks, while also recording five strikeouts. This outing represented his first quality start of the season and his longest pitching duration so far. The performance was a much-needed improvement after a difficult previous start where he gave up ten runs. However, Young has now allowed at least three earned runs in each of his last three appearances. He will enter his next scheduled start against the Yankees with a 4.35 earned run average and a 1.45 walks plus hits per inning pitched.
