Houston Astros pitcher Colton Gordon is actively seeking his Topps Rookie Debut Patch Autograph card, a valuable item commemorating his Major League debut. This unique trading card incorporates a patch worn on his jersey during his first game in May 2025. Gordon has taken to social media to offer a personalized trade, which could include autographs or game tickets, for the card, which he believes has not yet been discovered by collectors.

Launched by Topps in 2023, the debut patch card initiative involves players wearing a special patch during their first MLB game. This patch is then removed, sent to Topps, and inserted into a special trading card, which the player signs. Gordon's card, containing the patch from his May 2025 debut against the Royals, is technically in circulation as a redemption voucher within a Topps Chrome Baseball Update Series pack.

While not expected to reach the record-breaking figures seen for other players' debut cards, such as Paul Skenes' $1.11 million sale, Gordon is determined to acquire his own card.
