Okorie, a 19-year-old freshman, had a standout season at Stanford. He was named an Associated Press All-American honorable mention, a first-team All-ACC selection, and made the ACC All-Rookie team. Prior to his college career, he was recognized as the Gatorade Player of the Year for New Hampshire. During his freshman year, Okorie averaged an impressive 23.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
