Weather Wipes Out Q School Golf Scores
6 Dec
Summary
- Final round scores were deleted due to inclement weather at Q School.
- Players' advancement was based on third-round scores, not completed fourth rounds.
- This situation impacted many golfers hoping to qualify for the PGA Tour.

The PGA Tour Q School's second stage faced significant disruption at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta due to inclement weather. The final round on Friday was canceled after more than half the field had not completed their games. As a result, all fourth-round scores were wiped, and the leaderboard reverted to the third-round results.
This abrupt decision means players' futures were decided by earlier performance, upsetting those who had made significant gains in the incomplete final round. PGA Tour winner Smylie Kaufman expressed dismay, calling for guaranteed four rounds given the high stakes involved for aspiring golfers.
A total of 373 players competed across five locations in the second stage. Eighty-eight players have advanced to the final stage in Florida, where the top five finishers will earn PGA Tour cards for the 2026 season.
