Penn State Star WR Howard Out Indefinitely

Penn State's offensive capabilities have been hit hard as star wide receiver Koby Howard will be sidelined for an extended duration. This significant blow comes just as the team is set to begin conference play. Howard sustained an injury during his touchdown run in the recent game against Buffalo.

Howard, a highly-rated recruit, has emerged as a key player this season. He currently leads the Nittany Lions with 12 receptions for 344 yards and has scored three touchdowns. His impressive 28.7 yards per reception average also tops the Big Ten Conference.

The team will face Big Ten opponents Wisconsin and Northwestern without Howard. However, they are expected to be favored in these matchups. The situation could become more precarious if Howard's recovery timeline extends into critical upcoming games against USC and Michigan.
