PSU lands star LB Case Alexander in 2027 class

Penn State has secured a significant commitment for its 2027 recruiting class with four-star linebacker Case Alexander. The Washington prospect, standing at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, announced his decision Sunday, opting for the Nittany Lions over other prominent programs like Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech.

Alexander is recognized as the nation's 22nd-ranked linebacker in his grade according to 247Sports Composite. He was instrumental in leading Washington to the Class 2A-I state runner-up title, recording an impressive 114 tackles, including 20 for loss, and three sacks. His performance earned him The Oklahoman's Little All-City Defensive Player of the Year award.

Adding to his athletic prowess, Alexander also excelled as a tight end for Washington, catching 37 passes for 717 yards and 16 touchdowns. He is the son of former Oklahoma and NFL tight end Stephen Alexander and the younger brother of current Penn State tight end Cooper Alexander. This commitment marks a notable addition to Penn State's future roster.
