Peacock has elevated its sports broadcasting by introducing new features for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, building on innovations seen since its 2024 Summer Olympics hub.
Starting June 30, a new vertical viewing format called Visión De Campo will be available for select Spanish-language World Cup matches. This feature provides alternate camera angles focused on specific moments and athletes, offering a unique, immersive perspective.
Visión De Campo, previously seen in NBA and NHL broadcasts as Courtside Live and Rinkside Live, will be accessible on mobile devices and as a picture-in-picture option on living room devices. The rollout includes specific matches such as Mexico vs. Ecuador on June 30 and USA vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina on July 1, with semifinal and final matches also planned.
Furthermore, Peacock is launching Tu Brackets, an interactive bracket game on July 8. Fans must submit their predictions by July 9 for the quarterfinal matches. This feature allows users to track their chosen teams' progress throughout the tournament directly within the app, offering a non-betting entertainment component.
These new offerings enhance Peacock's existing suite of features, which already includes multi-view capabilities, an interactive prediction game called Predicciones, match replays, and live game access, significantly enriching the World Cup viewing experience.
