For the 13th round of the 2026 Brasileirão, São Paulo is set to play against Mirassol this Saturday, April 25th, at 9 p.m. Brasília time. The match will be held at Brinco de Ouro, the home ground of Guarani, in Campinas.
Following a streak of two winless matches in the league, São Paulo remains in fourth place with 20 points. This puts them nine points behind the league leaders, Palmeiras. Meanwhile, their opponent, Mirassol, is in the 18th position with nine points, although they have a game in hand.
The upcoming game is considered a critical must-win for São Paulo's coach, Roger Machado, who has been facing significant criticism and audible displeasure from the club's fanbase. This pressure intensified after recent defeats against Vitória and Vasco in the national championship.
In an effort to bolster the team, coach Roger Machado has made changes to the lineup, bringing in Sabino and Bobadilla. They will replace Alan Franco and Luan, respectively, in the starting squad for this important fixture.
