New England Patriots' Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite, TreVeyon Henderson, suffered an injury during the first half of the team's Week 16 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. The second-round draft pick went down following a short run in the second quarter.
Henderson was attended to by medical staff and head coach Mike Vrabel before slowly walking off the field. He proceeded directly to the medical tent and subsequently headed to the locker room. The team has not yet provided an official update on his condition.
Selected 38th overall in the April draft, Henderson has been indispensable to the Patriots' offensive success. In 14 games played, he has rushed for 773 yards and seven touchdowns on 143 carries, also adding 34 receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown.
