The New England Patriots wrapped up their 2026 NFL draft by making three late-round selections. In the seventh round, they first picked Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton at No. 234 overall. Morton, a four-star recruit and former team captain, brings significant starting experience and recorded 71 touchdowns during his college career.
Following the quarterback selection, the Patriots added running back Jam Miller from Alabama at No. 245. Miller, who led Alabama in rushing for two seasons, brings speed and versatility to New England's backfield. He was a four-star recruit who appeared in 50 games for the Crimson Tide.
Rounding out the Patriots' draft class was Boston College edge rusher Quintayvious Hutchins at No. 247. Hutchins brings flexibility, having played both defensive end and tight end, and offers special teams contributions. He recorded 66 tackles and 5.5 sacks in his college career.
