Mahomes, who played for the Red Raiders from 2014 to 2016, remains one of the most iconic figures in the program's history. During his time at Texas Tech, he threw for 11,252 yards and 93 touchdowns, completing 63.5% of his passes and averaging a school-record 351.6 passing yards per game. After being selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Mahomes has gone on to become one of the league's biggest stars, winning two MVP awards and three Super Bowl MVPs with the Kansas City Chiefs.
