Fans initially gathered in Budapest, Hungary, to watch PSG defeat Arsenal in a dramatic penalty shootout. Upon returning to Paris, thousands congregated on the Champs-Elysees, with many setting off flares and creating a festive atmosphere.

However, the celebrations took a turn as smaller factions engaged in disruptive behavior across the capital. These groups vandalized shops, set fires, and even attempted to breach a police station in the affluent 8th Arrondissement.
