Summary
- Adults fought during a children's football game.
- Children intervened to separate the fighting adults.
- Those involved received a lifetime ban from the club.

Footage has emerged showing a violent brawl between parents at an under-14s football match held last Saturday in Bridgend, South Wales. The altercation began after a child was sent off the pitch during a game between Trefelin BGC and Aberkenfig BGC. The fight escalated with punches being thrown, and alarmingly, young players had to step in to separate the adults.
Onlookers pleaded for the fighting to stop, emphasizing it was 'just a game.' Despite attempts by spectators and children to de-escalate the situation, the brawl continued, with one man even taking off his jacket in a confrontational manner. The referee ultimately abandoned the match after the fighting persisted for over a minute and a half.
Trefelin BGC has since conducted an investigation and issued lifetime bans to the individuals involved. Aberkenfig BGC expressed disappointment, stating the behaviour did not reflect their club's values and that they are compiling a report for governing bodies. The Football Association of Wales confirmed that a full investigation into the incident will take place.
