The couple, who are married, secured controlling ownership of the Padres for an MLB-record $3.9 billion. They exuded energy and passion, emphasizing their commitment to consistent success on the field and to improving communities in San Diego and neighboring Baja California.

Feliciano and Jones are taking over during a successful period for the Padres, who have reached the playoffs multiple times recently. They aim to continue the legacy of former owner Peter Seidler, who was known for his aggressive pursuit of winning.
