Pacers Injury Woes Ease: Key Players Return Amidst Losing Streak
4 Nov
Summary
- Several Pacers players upgraded, including Zubac to questionable.
- Siakam, Nembhard, and Nesmith are off the injury report.
- Team aims for healthier frontcourt despite ongoing absences.

The Indiana Pacers are anticipating a healthier frontcourt as they prepare to face the Memphis Grizzlies. Starting center Ivica Zubac has been upgraded to questionable, having missed the last five games due to a left ankle sprain. Forward Obi Toppin is also questionable with a lumbar sprain, and Kelly Oubre Jr. is questionable with a calf contusion.
Encouragingly, forwards Pascal Siakam and Aaron Nesmith, along with guard Andrew Nembhard, have been removed from the injury report after resting for previous games. Larry Nance Jr. is also expected to be available after missing a recent game due to illness.
However, the Pacers will still be without point guards Tyrese Haliburton and T.J. McConnell, both nursing hamstring strains. Wings Ben Sheppard and Johnny Furphy are also out with significant injuries, including a torn meniscus and a torn ACL, respectively.
This potential influx of available players, including three two-way contract players who played significant minutes recently, comes as the Pacers have lost five straight games and six of their last seven. The team hopes these returning players will help stem their current losing streak.
