Summary
- Paarl Royals scored 210/5, led by Lhuan-dre Pretorius.

- Royals won by 36 runs to reach Qualifier 2.

A complete all-round display from Paarl Royals earned them a convincing 36-run victory over Joburg Super Kings in the Eliminator at SuperSport Park, ending JSK’s campaign and sending the Royals through to Qualifier 2. Led by Lhuan-dre Pretorius’ assured half-century and backed by multiple impactful contributions, the Royals posted an imposing 210 for 5. In response, early damage derailed the Super Kings’ chase as they were limited to 174 for 8, with Hardus Viljoen starring with the ball.
After being asked to bat, the Royals produced their most fluent batting effort of the season and the highest total recorded at Centurion this year. Kyle Verreynne provided early impetus with a rapid 30 from 15 balls in the PowerPlay, punishing anything loose before falling in the fourth over. While Daniel Worrall bowled an economical spell, the lack of support elsewhere allowed the Royals to surge to 61 for 1 after six overs.
Pretorius anchored the innings through the middle phase with a composed 51 off 34, adjusting well to a surface that played slightly two-paced. He was well supported by Dan Lawrence and Sikandar Raza, who kept the scoreboard moving with aggressive yet calculated strokeplay. By the 15th over, the Royals were firmly in control at 148 for 4, setting up a strong finish.
