Oklahoma Star Owen Heinecke Seeks Extra Season

Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Owen Heinecke is pursuing a sixth year of collegiate eligibility, a decision complicated by his past participation in three lacrosse games at Ohio State in 2021. The NCAA is currently reviewing his appeal, leaving his future uncertain as the Sooners prepare for the College Football Playoff.
