- Key players Fodje and Pierre-Louis ruled out due to injuries.

The Oklahoma Sooners are set to field yet another new offensive line combination this Saturday against Mississippi State. Ryan Fodje, who had been filling in at left tackle, has been ruled out with a right lower-leg injury sustained last week. Additionally, fellow offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis will also miss the contest.
Compounding the issues, Fodje's replacement, Michael Fasusi, remains questionable after being in the same status last week. Interior lineman Heath Ozaeta is also questionable. On the other side of the ball, cornerback Eli Bowen continues to be listed as questionable, though Trystan Haynes has performed well in his absence.
Further injury woes include wide receivers Parker Livingstone and Elijah Thomas, and running backs Tory Blaylock and Xavier Robinson, all questionable. Defensive players Trell Harris, Taylor Heim, Jacobe Johnson, and tight end Trynae Washington have been ruled out. For Mississippi State, quarterback Kamario Taylor and running back Fluff Bothwell are questionable after missing their previous game.
