Gaven Lane was the only Oklahoma State player to qualify for the match play portion of the U.S. Amateur. He secured one of the 64 available spots after finishing stroke play with a two-round total of 1-over par. Lane's performance placed him in a tie for 33rd place.

Their teammate Ethan Fang, a previous winner of the Amateur Championship in Great Britain, also did not make the cut.
Match play is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, August 14, 2026. Lane will be supported by his six teammates who were unable to advance. The full pairings for the first round of match play are expected to be announced shortly.
