The Oregon Ducks are embracing their "Storm LA" tradition for their upcoming matchup against the USC Trojans. This highly anticipated game will see the Ducks don their iconic all-white uniforms, a tradition that originated in 2012 with a decisive victory over USC.
This season's "Storm LA" look includes a notable update: a brand-new helmet design. The Ducks will wear their familiar silver "chrome dome" helmets, now accented with distinctive dark green wings on the sides. This refreshed uniform aims to evoke the same winning spirit as the original "Storm LA" game.
The "Storm LA" tradition was cemented in 2012 when the Ducks defeated USC 62-51, with Kenjon Barner scoring an impressive 321 yards and five touchdowns. This memorable performance established the all-white uniform and the "Storm LA" moniker in the team's history.
