Summary
- Oklahoma lost to Gonzaga last week, giving up 18 offensive rebounds
- Sooners coach Porter Moser wants team to rebound better when key player is out
- Oklahoma has 4 players averaging 10+ points per game this season

On November 11, 2025, the Oklahoma Sooners basketball team will host the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions in Norman, Oklahoma. The Sooners are coming off a road loss to Gonzaga last weekend, where they struggled on the glass, giving up 18 offensive rebounds.
Oklahoma coach Porter Moser acknowledged the team's rebounding woes, stating they need to "keep [Mohamed Wague] in the game" and rebound better when he's not on the court due to foul trouble. Despite the defeat, Moser believes the team "learned a lot" and is ready for the upcoming challenges.
The Sooners have four players averaging 10 or more points per game in the early season, led by Saint Joseph's transfer Xzayvier Brown at 18.5 points per game. Miami transfer Nijel Pack is also contributing 17 points per contest.
Meanwhile, the winless Golden Lions (0-3) are in the midst of an 11-game road trip to start the season. UAPB, which doesn't play its first home game until December 15th, has lost its first three games by an average of 25 points. Seniors Jaquan Scott and Quion Williams have been the team's top scorers so far.
The Sooners will look to bounce back from their Gonzaga defeat and improve their rebounding performance when they host the struggling Golden Lions on Tuesday.
