The Oklahoma Sooners face uncertainty heading into their matchup against the No. 1 Texas Longhorns, as key cornerback Eli Bowen has been listed as "questionable" on the SEC availability report. Bowen, a consistent starter since 2024, sustained an undisclosed injury late in the week, potentially weakening OU's defense.
Several other Oklahoma players are confirmed out for the game, including Michael Fasusi, Trell Harris, Taylor Heim, Jacobe Johnson, Fred Hinton, and Trynae Washington. Eddy Pierre-Louis is listed as doubtful. Conversely, players like Michael Boganowski and Jack Van Dorselaer were upgraded to "probable" on Thursday.
On the Texas side, the availability report is less detailed. Tight end Nick Townsend has been removed from the report and is available. However, offensive lineman Jordan Coleman, pass catcher Kaliq Lockett, and defensive lineman Zion Williams have been ruled out. Defensive lineman Justus Terry is listed as "probable," indicating his return to the field.
