The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is set to take place at Truist Park in Atlanta, and the starting lineups for both the National League and American League squads were announced on Monday. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will lead the NL team, while Yankees skipper Aaron Boone will manage the AL.
Roberts has selected Shohei Ohtani, the NL home run leader, to lead off for the NL, followed by hometown favorite Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves. Three Dodgers players were voted into the NL starting lineup, including first baseman Freddie Freeman and catcher Will Smith.
On the AL side, Boone has penciled in Gleyber Torres, who played seven seasons for Boone in New York before signing with the Detroit Tigers, as his leadoff hitter. Boone's current MVP candidate, Aaron Judge, will bat third, followed by MLB home run leader Cal Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners.
The starting pitchers for the game will be the Pirates' Paul Skenes, last year's NL Rookie of the Year, and the Tigers' Tarik Skubal, the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner.
