Odell Beckham Jr. Joins Undefeated Vikings

Odell Beckham Jr. has found a new opportunity in the NFL, signing with the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad. This move occurs as the Vikings are navigating injuries to key wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, both of whom were listed as questionable for an upcoming game. The veteran receiver's arrival could provide a much-needed boost to the Vikings' offense, which has struggled with aerial consistency despite their perfect 4-0 record.

Beckham's addition marks a reunion with Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell, who previously coached him during the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl LVI-winning 2021 season. During that stint, Beckham was a significant contributor, tallying 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season, followed by 21 catches for 288 yards and two scores in the postseason. His familiarity with O'Connell's system could expedite his integration into the Vikings' offense.

While Beckham's current form is a question mark, given his absence from the entire 2025 season and reduced production in recent years, the Vikings are not necessarily expecting him to be a primary target. Instead, his experience could serve as valuable insurance as Jefferson and Addison work towards full strength. A potential debut for Beckham could also be personally significant, as he hails from New Orleans, making a game in his hometown a possibility.
