Giants Trade Rumors: Veteran WR on the Move?

As the November 10 NFL trade deadline approaches, the New York Giants, who are clear buyers, are also reportedly contemplating moving veteran wide receiver Darnell Mooney. ESPN suggests Mooney, who signed a 1-year, $3 million contract on March 18, could be a trade candidate given the Giants' emerging young receivers, Malachi Fields and Malik Nabers.

Mooney has recorded only 9 receptions for 133 yards and no touchdowns this season, while the Giants maintain a strong 4-2-1 record. His past production, including a 1,005-yard season with the Chicago Bears in 2021, might still attract teams needing immediate receiver help, potentially for a late-round draft pick. Nabers, however, is performing at an All-Pro level, leading the team in receptions and receiving yards.
