Nottingham Forest is eyeing Tottenham Hotspur's 20-year-old midfielder Lucas Bergvall as a potential successor to Elliot Anderson, who is attracting interest from Manchester City and Manchester United. Bergvall, currently with Sweden at the World Cup, shares positional uncertainty with Anderson but possesses traits suited to Forest's midfield, potentially complementing Ibrahim Sangare. His ball-carrying ability and work rate are comparable to Anderson's, with similar take-on statistics.

Forest has a strong record of developing young talent, having successfully integrated players like Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Anthony Elanga. Bergvall, having spent two seasons in England, is expected to adapt quickly.
