The Northern Ireland duo secured the win in straight sets, with scores of 4-1 and 8-1.
Despite a closer contest than the scoreline suggests, Wilson and O'Neill consistently delivered crucial shots. The first set was tightly contested, with single shots on each end, but Northern Ireland secured it 4-1. The second set saw a strong opening from the Northern Ireland pair, who quickly built a commanding lead.
Wilson and O'Neill are set to face Zambia next, but a highly anticipated showdown with Australia, who have one loss, is expected tomorrow morning. This match will likely determine their path to the semi-finals.
