Held at Sacred Heart University's Martire Family Arena, the festivities begin with a pre-game party at 4:00 p.m. EST, followed by the puck drop at 6:30 p.m. This year marks the largest turnout yet, with players from approximately 10 to 12 different NHL teams confirmed.
Founded by the HT40 Foundation, the initiative highlights the profound impact of human connection, emphasizing that a simple gesture, like a hand on the shoulder, can be a crucial conversation starter and provide comfort. Gary Zegras, a founding board member, noted the growing league-wide support beyond the initial heavy involvement of the New York Rangers.
