Summary

- Hosts include Survivor, Real Housewives, and Below Deck stars
- Aims to attract new audiences by highlighting "drama, strategy, and loyal fans"

As the NFL continues to explore new ways to engage casual fans, the league is now tapping into the reality TV audience. On December 7th, 2025, Peacock and NFL+ will feature a Reality Hot Seat alternate broadcast for the Sunday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.
The unique broadcast will be hosted by a team of reality TV stars, including Survivor and The Traitors alum Rob Mariano, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay, TV and podcast host Justin Sylvester, and Kate Chastain of Below Deck and The Traitors. The goal is to "bring together two of the greatest passions, football and reality TV, both full of drama, strategy and fiercely loyal fans," according to Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted.
This alternate stream is the latest in a series of unique NFL broadcast experiments, following the success of ESPN2's Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli Manning, Nickelodeon's kids-focused presentations, and Disney+'s animated game coverage. The Reality Hot Seat broadcast aims to attract new audiences by highlighting the "storylines, rivalries and larger-than-life personalities that make professional football as captivating as a hit reality TV show."
