However, Goodell was "super patient," and the two eventually tied the knot in 1997.

After retiring from her role as an anchor and co-host for Fox News Channel in 2010, Skinner has focused on producing several NFL-related projects that highlight the contributions of female professionals working for the league. This includes co-executive producing the documentary "A Lifetime of Sundays," which profiled four pioneering female team owners, and working on the league-backed podcast and television series "Earnin' It: The NFL's Forward Progress."
