Fans React: Kamwa's Celebration Sparks Debate

Newport County supporters are reflecting on the team's promising start to the season under Hayden Mullins. The side has shown an encouraging ability to score goals, a welcome change from previous seasons, with six goals in two games reported. This offensive improvement has boosted confidence for the season ahead among the fanbase.

However, concerns about squad depth persist. While the starting eleven appears competitive, with Ashley noting the potential even against promotion-fancied Bristol Rovers, the team's overall lack of depth could make it difficult to sustain performance throughout the season, especially if players pick up injuries.

Adding to the discussion is the reaction to Bobby Kamwa's goal celebration for Bristol Rovers. Kamwa, who scored a crucial goal for Newport last season, ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of his former club's fans. This action has divided opinion, with some fans feeling it lacked maturity and respect for the club that developed his career, while others suggest he was overcome by emotion after receiving abuse.
