Newcastle United, Borussia Dortmund, and Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly monitoring Wolves' 18-year-old talent, Mateus Mane. Mane emerged as a standout player during a challenging season for Wolves, which ultimately resulted in their relegation from the Premier League.
Despite the team's struggles, Mane featured prominently, accumulating close to 2,000 minutes on the pitch. He registered three goals and two assists across 31 senior appearances, showcasing his potential.
Wolves are keen to retain Mane for their upcoming Championship campaign. While the young player has indicated a desire to stay, intense interest from major European clubs could influence his decision if formal bids are submitted.
The club is focusing on building a veteran squad for a return to the top flight, contrasting with Newcastle's strategy of targeting younger players with future profit potential. As of now, no official offers for Mane have been reported.
