Summary
- New pump track planned for Perdiswell Leisure Centre.
- Construction set to begin January, opening April.
- Track designed for all abilities with separate loops.

Designs have been revealed for an expansive new pump track adjacent to Perdiswell Leisure Centre in Worcester. This facility, hailed by the council as a "destination facility," is scheduled for construction starting in January and is expected to open its gates to the public by April, pending any weather-related delays.
The new outdoor track boasts a design intended to cater to a wide range of users, from complete beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. It will feature a dedicated progression loop for novices to develop fundamental skills like balance and cornering. Simultaneously, an alternative, faster loop will offer a flowing experience for intermediate and advanced riders, enabling continuous laps without constant pedaling.
Worcester City Council highlighted that the track's design incorporates various elements such as single, double, and triple mounds, banked turns, and flat-topped jumps. Users will also have access to the existing amenities at Perdiswell Leisure Centre, including parking, restrooms, and a café, further enhancing its appeal as a comprehensive recreational spot.
