Deossa Demands 'Irresistible' Premier League Move
13 Aug
Summary
- Nelson Deossa seeks 'irresistible' offer to leave Real Betis.
- Premier League clubs Leeds, West Ham, and Wolves are interested.
- Deossa rejects moves to lower-value leagues like Brazil or Mexico.
Nelson Deossa, the 26-year-old midfielder, is generating significant transfer interest from English clubs after a strong debut season with Real Betis. Deossa made 33 appearances, contributing to the team's fifth-placed La Liga finish and Champions League qualification. English scouts from Leeds United, West Ham United, and Wolves have reportedly monitored his performances.
However, Deossa has indicated a strong preference to remain with Real Betis, potentially complicating any transfer. Should he decide to move, he requires an 'irresistible' offer, particularly from the Premier League. He has explicitly rejected the idea of moving to leagues he considers of lower competitive value, such as those in Brazil or Mexico, and does not wish to return to Mexican football.
It remains to be seen if Leeds, West Ham, or Wolves will submit a formal bid that meets Deossa's criteria. The possibility of him moving to England exists, with the Premier League or Championship being potential destinations, depending on the offers presented this summer.
