Navarro vs. Jovic: Strasbourg Showdown

Emma Navarro and Iva Jovic will compete for the first time on the WTA Tour during the Round of 16 at the 2026 Internationaux de Strasbourg. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg in France. Navarro secured her spot by defeating Sara Bejlek in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.

Iva Jovic enters the Strasbourg tournament following her appearance at the Italian Open, where she also reached the Round of 16. Jovic has a 21-12 win-loss record for 2026, with a 6-5 record on clay courts. This encounter is notable as it's the debut WTA Tour meeting between Navarro and Jovic, meaning no prior head-to-head record exists.
