27 Sep
Summary
- No. 18 Northern Arizona visits No. 1 Montana State.
- Montana State aims for 18th consecutive win.
- NAU defense leads FCS with 12 takeaways through four games.
A highly anticipated FCS matchup is scheduled for Saturday night as No. 18 Northern Arizona travels to face the top-ranked Montana State Bobcats. The Bobcats are aiming to extend their impressive winning streak to 18 consecutive games. Last week, Montana State faced a challenge, coming back from a 14-point deficit to secure a 35-30 victory.
Northern Arizona enters the game with a 3-1 record, their sole loss occurring against Arizona. Despite quarterback Ty Pennington not matching last season's sharp performance, the Lumberjacks' defense has been a crucial factor. They currently lead all FCS and FBS teams with 12 takeaways through four games, posing a significant threat to opponents.
The game is set to broadcast on ESPN2, with live streaming options available through fubo, DIRECTV, and the ESPN app. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 26th, at Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman, Montana.
