Patterson Departs Everton for Torino

Scotland international Nathan Patterson has completed a move from Everton to Italian club Torino for an undisclosed fee. The 24-year-old right-back initially joined Everton from Rangers in January 2022 on a five-and-a-half-year contract.

However, Patterson's time at Everton was marred by injuries, limiting his opportunities. He managed 68 appearances across all competitions, with 29 of those coming from the substitutes' bench. Last season, he featured in eight matches for the Toffees.

Patterson, who has earned 29 caps for Scotland and played in all three of their World Cup group games, had hoped to establish himself as a regular starter this season. His sole appearance this campaign was as a second-half substitute in a League Cup victory. He now joins fellow Scot Che Adams at Torino.
