Summary
- Namibia and South Africa face off in first-ever T20I match
- Newly built Namibia Cricket Ground hosts its inaugural international game
- Quinton de Kock returns from retirement for South Africa

On October 11, 2025, Namibia and South Africa will face off in a historic one-off T20 International cricket match at the newly built Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. This will be the first time the two sides meet in a T20I, with Namibia hosting its maiden international fixture at the venue.
Namibia, fresh from successfully qualifying for the T20 World Cup next year by reaching the final of the Africa Region Qualifier earlier this month, will be captained by Gerhard Erasmus and will look to put up a strong performance against their more experienced opponents. South Africa, meanwhile, will field a new-look side led by Donovan Ferreira and including the recently un-retired Quinton de Kock, who had previously announced his ODI and Test retirement.
The match is set to begin at 5:30 PM IST, with the toss taking place at 5 PM IST. While the game will not be televised live in India, it will be available for live streaming on the FanCode app and website.
