As of November 16th, 2025, Mumbai Indians have made some major roster moves ahead of the upcoming IPL 2026 mini-auction. The five-time champions have officially traded Arjun Tendulkar to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Arjun, who was first picked by MI in the 2021 mini-auction for Rs 20 lakh, made his IPL debut in 2023 and has since featured in limited matches for the franchise.
In a separate trade, MI have strengthened their spin attack by bringing back Mayank Markande from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Markande, who was traded at his existing price of Rs 30 lakh, previously represented MI in 2018, 2019, and 2022, winning the title in 2019. The leg-spinner is expected to provide MI with an aggressive and adaptable spin option across varying conditions.
Elsewhere, Punjab Kings have released several key players ahead of the mini-auction, including Glenn Maxwell, Liam Hardie, Josh Inglis, Kuldeep Sen, and Vishnu Vinod. These players will now enter the auction pool, potentially drawing interest from other franchises.
