Morocco Advances: Thrilling 4-2 Win Secures World Cup Knockout Spot

Morocco earned a spot in the World Cup last 32 after a captivating 4-2 victory against Haiti on Wednesday. The match saw Morocco twice needing to come from behind during a highly entertaining first half. Substitutes Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine ultimately secured the crucial win for their team.

The victory confirmed Morocco's position as Group C runners-up, trailing only Brazil who finished top on seven points. Morocco will now advance to play the winners of Group F in Houston on Monday, continuing their quest in the tournament.

Haiti's opening goal was initially recorded as an own goal, deflecting off Morocco's goalkeeper Yassine Bounou. Although Haiti managed to regain the lead through Wilson Isidor's striking goal, Morocco's Ismael Saibari equalized just before halftime.

Haiti was on the cusp of securing their first World Cup point, but Rahimi's goal 12 minutes from time, following a corner, propelled Morocco ahead. Gessime then sealed the victory with a late addition to the scoreline.
