Summary
- Stan Collymore advocates for Morgan Gibbs-White's World Cup inclusion.
- Gibbs-White previously won U17 World Cup and U21 European Championship.
- Competition for England's No.10 spot is intense with top players.
Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has been strongly recommended for inclusion in the national team's World Cup plans. Former England international Stan Collymore has publicly urged manager Thomas Tuchel to select the talented player, highlighting his significant contributions at the City Ground.
Gibbs-White, who moved to Forest in 2022, has a strong history with England's youth teams, having previously won the U17 World Cup and the U21 European Championship. He made his senior debut in September 2024 under interim coach Lee Carsley.
Despite earning six caps and playing under Tuchel, Gibbs-White was recently omitted from the England squad and has not featured in the last three matches. He faces fierce competition for attacking midfield roles from established stars such as Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, and Phil Foden.
