Duplantis acknowledged that missing the Bislett Games in June for the wedding ceremony in Cannes, France, was a necessary sacrifice. He expressed that while he feels 'half-married,' he is awaiting the formal summer ceremony to wear his ring, adhering to a blend of traditions.
