Slot Welcomes Salah Back: "Happy to Have Him"

Manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Mohamed Salah will return to Liverpool next week, expressing his pleasure at the forward's reintegration into the squad. Salah is set to rejoin his teammates following his participation with Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations, concluding with a third-place play-off match.

Despite a period of public tension following an explosive interview prior to the tournament, Slot is ready to welcome Salah back. The manager highlighted Salah's significant contributions to the club and stated his happiness for his return, even if the team had numerous attacking options. This return is particularly timely given Liverpool's current injury challenges.

The club is managing various injury concerns, making Salah's availability a welcome development for bolstering their attacking strength. Discussions are ongoing regarding Salah's potential involvement in upcoming matches, with a decision pending on whether he will be ready for immediate selection or held back for a later fixture.
