At Gladiator 33 in Osaka, Japan, MMA fighter Masato Ishida delivered a brutal knockout with a slam against Reito Shiokawa. Ishida, in only his second professional bout, secured the win less than a minute into the fight. Shiokawa was knocked unconscious by the slam itself.
Tragically, Ishida was unaware his opponent was already unconscious and moved into mount to deliver further punches. The referee quickly stopped the fight upon realizing Shiokawa was out. Ishida celebrated his second consecutive professional victory, maintaining a perfect 2-0 record.
This violent finish marked a stark contrast for Shiokawa, whose professional MMA career record now falls to 0-5. Shiokawa had previously shown promise as an amateur, but has struggled in his professional debut at flyweight.
