Millwall manager Alex Neil is optimistic about his team's prospects in the Championship play-off chase following the acquisition of new players.
He believes the additions of Barry Bannan and Tommy Watson will inject much-needed creativity into the squad, which is crucial for securing victories in close contests.
Watson, an England U21 forward, has been secured on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion until the conclusion of the current season. This move follows the permanent signing of experienced midfielder Bannan.
The Lions, currently in fifth place, also added goalkeeper Anthony Patterson on loan before the transfer deadline. They are set to play Wrexham, who are just below them in the league standings, this coming Saturday.
