Miller's Preseason Surge: Opportunity Knocks

In the absence of the injured Nic Claxton, forward Miller has been presented with expanded playing time during the preseason games. He has consistently been a part of the rotation, even if not in the starting lineup.

Miller delivered one of the most effective offensive performances of his NBA career in a recent exhibition. He impressively shot 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, and his shooting efficiency was high, making his first six attempts before a miss early in the third quarter. Jalen Smith earned the start in place of Claxton, but Miller's strong showing indicates he should also be factored into the team's plans. While not a recommended early draft selection for most fantasy leagues, Miller could prove to be a useful streaming option at various points during the upcoming season.
