This epic scoring display set new program and ACC records for most points by a freshman.
Brown's 45-point effort also eclipsed the long-standing overall single-game scoring record of 45 points, originally set by UofL legend Wes Unseld on December 1, 1967. Additionally, Brown matched a Louisville single-game record by sinking 10 three-pointers in the contest.
Despite missing eight games earlier this season due to injury, Brown has shown resilience. He expressed gratitude for his teammates' encouragement, noting a growing rhythm for both himself and the team. Starting guard Ryan Conwell also had a stellar game with 31 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, providing mutual inspiration for Brown.
