The dancing clip elicited surprised reactions from many, including Tomlin's daughter, Harlyn, a four-star gymnastics recruit, who commented, "Omg. This is not real." Steelers players Cam Heyward and Joey Porter Jr. also shared their amusement.

Tomlin concluded his coaching tenure after the 2025 NFL season, with his final game being a wild-card playoff loss to the Houston Texans. He has since transitioned to an NFL analyst role.

"My pulse rate's a lot lower," Tomlin shared on "The Dan Patrick Show," describing his enjoyment of his newfound free time in 2026. He has prioritized his wellness and fitness, noting his family's amusement at his relaxed state.

Looking ahead to the 2026 NFL season, the Steelers' first without Tomlin on the sidelines since 2006, he expressed optimism about their Super Bowl prospects. Speaking on "The Rich Eisen Show," Tomlin stated, "I certainly do" believe they can win.

He believes the team possesses the core elements for success in all three phases of the game. Tomlin suggested that the team's current under-the-radar status could serve as a motivating factor, reinforcing his view that they should maintain high expectations for the upcoming season.
