Top CB Joshua Dobson Wowed by Michigan Visit

Michigan is positioning itself strongly for top recruits as it prepares for its annual 'Victor's Weekend'. The Wolverines recently hosted five-star cornerback Joshua Dobson for an official visit. Dobson, ranked among the nation's elite, indicated that Michigan has a "shot" at securing his commitment, citing the school's alignment with his preferences and the "endless connections" he experienced, even mentioning conversations with notable figures. Dobson, who found his Michigan visit "great" and "shocking," plans to visit South Carolina before making a commitment around July 1. Separately, four-star linebacker Frederrick Ford also had a positive unofficial visit to Ann Arbor. Ford, a versatile prospect, was impressed by the coaching staff's vision for his role and the comparison to NFL players. Ford, from Greenwood, Mississippi, is considering multiple top programs and intends to decide after his final official visits to LSU and Tennessee. The Wolverines are building momentum with key commitments set to gather for an important recruiting event this upcoming weekend.
