Bradley Lord Steps Up as Mercedes F1 Deputy Team Principal

Bradley Lord has been appointed as the deputy team principal for the Mercedes Formula One team, effective immediately. This announcement follows a period where the team's operational scope and senior-level responsibilities have seen significant growth.

Team Principal Toto Wolff stated that the change was a natural progression given the expanding nature of the team and Formula One. Lord has been an integral part of Mercedes, having previously served as their chief communications officer and official team representative. This new role formalizes responsibilities he has effectively been undertaking.

The team is currently in a strong position, leading the constructors' standings after achieving successive one-two finishes in recent Grand Prix events in Australia and China.
